Sustainability and Emissions Policy.

Introduction

As a micro-business providing leadership coaching services, I have a relatively low environmental impact. I recognise the importance of sustainability and commit to operating in a responsible and environmentally conscious way. My emissions are considered under the three standard categories:

Scope 1 – Direct Emissions

I have no Scope 1 emissions.

I do not own or operate company vehicles, fuel-burning equipment, or other sources of direct emissions.

Scope 2 – Indirect Energy Emissions

My Scope 2 emissions are limited to electricity used in my (home) office.
I minimise these by:

  • using energy-efficient devices,

  • reducing unnecessary energy use,

  • sourcing renewable electricity where possible.

Scope 3 – Other Indirect Emissions

My Scope 3 emissions relate mainly to business travel, purchased goods/services, and waste. To reduce these impacts, I:

  • prioritise online meetings and coaching sessions,

  • use public transport or low-impact travel options where feasible,

  • minimise printing and rely on digital documentation,

  • recycle and responsibly dispose of equipment and materials,

  • choose suppliers with sustainable practices where possible.

Ongoing Commitment

I regularly review my working practices to identify opportunities to reduce emissions and operate more sustainably. As a small business, I strive to keep my environmental footprint as low as possible and support clients in achieving their sustainability goals.
